What can I apply for?

In order to apply for NOCCA your student must currently be a resident of the state of Louisiana attending a public, private, parochial or home school.

Middle School Arts Instruction (7th & 8th grade)

  • Current 6-7th Grade Students Eligible to Apply
  • Training in Classical Instrumental and Dance
  • Weekday after school

High School Arts Instruction (9th - 12th grade)

  • Current 8-11th Grade Students Eligible to Apply
  • Training in Classical Instrumental Music, Classical Vocal Music, Creative Writing, Culinary Arts, Dance, Drama, Jazz Instrumental Music, Media Arts, Musical Theatre, Theatre Design, Visual Arts
  • MAY apply to both High School Arts Instruction and Summer Intensive for High School Students, in either the same or different disciplines
  • Half day and after school attendance options
  • Elective Credit Earning

Academic Studio (9th - 12th grade)

  • Current 8th Grade Students Eligible to Apply
  • First be accepted into the High School Arts Instruction at a Level I
  • Full day attendance
Summer Intensive for High School Students (9th - 12th grade): June 1-19, 2020
  • Current 8th-11th grade Students Eligible to Apply
  • Training in Classical Instrumental Music, Classical Vocal Music, Creative Writing, Culinary Arts, Dance, Drama, Jazz Instrumental Music, Media Arts, Musical Theatre, Theatre Design, and Visual Arts
  • MAY apply to both High School Arts Instruction and Summer Intensive for High School Students, in the same or different disciplines
  • Currently enrolled NOCCA students may apply for a discipline other than their current discipline
  • 3 weeks of Monday-Friday attendance, June 1-19 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Elective Credit Earning (1/2 credit)
  • Summer RTA bus tokens available
  • $200 fee, assistance available
